The Pentagon is Livestreaming an Execution?!?
What this video covers
This video is Kevin's reaction to reports that the Pentagon will livestream the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan on December 3. Kevin cites Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's statement to Real America's Voice and Trump's comments. He says he does not object to the firing squad itself but calls livestreaming a bridge too far, comparing it to ISIS broadcasts and the way media amplified Charlie Kirk's death. Kevin wonders whether the announcement is a distraction amid an unpopular war with Iran, and notes legal appeals could delay it.

ISIS used to just behead Americans sometimes and then broadcast it. Is that what we are? Are we ISIS now? Is that where we're at? Live streaming is gaining in popularity. It is overtaking all media. And now the Department of War and the Pentagon, they want to get in on the live streaming themselves. So what are they going to do? Well, they're going to live stream a execution. Yeah. Yeah. That's not weird and crazy and absolutely bonkers. Not at all. That
is so unbelievably normal. It's just so much winning, guys. Oh my god. There's just so much winning. like like what are we doing here? Now I I will say this part of me thinks that this coming out today was made so that people will get all riled up and I'll talk about it for five minutes on my live stream and you know instead of talking about something else and everybody will get all up in a tizzy and you know all this stuff. Is it a distraction from something that's happening right now? I don't know. But I don't think this is actually going to happen. I think enough people are gonna raise a stank and they're gonna say absolutely not. Don't do that. Plus, by the way, I don't know a live
streaming service that would allow such a thing. They'd have to like self-host live stream it from their own website, maybe. I don't know. So, let's check this out because the person that they're executing, Nidadal Malik Hassan, who was the Fort Hood shooter, the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hassan will be livereamed. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegth told conservative TV outlet Real America's Voice News on Wednesday that the execution would be public on December 3rd. Now, the Pentagon has confirmed that and said more details will follow. We know we know what it is. It was a radical Islamist attack in uniform inside the ranks. And so he's going to get a firing radical Islamist. I mean that just
radical Islamist that is cause to treat you not like a human. This is America squad of soldiers as it should be. And we'll make sure that people are able to to watch it that it's public. Uh because people need to understand that this is a there's serious consequences for these types of things. You what group? Like there was a group that used to like um you know they used to film like executions and and like you know and and stuff like who was it? ISIS. That's right. ISIS used to just behead Americans sometimes and then broadcast it. Is that what we are? Are we ISIS now? Is that where
we're at? I got a question. What level of capitalism is this? What level what stage of capitalism is live streaming a public execution? I'm just wondering for a friend. This is this is bonkers. Part of me thinks that having Pete Hegsth be the one to deliver this message makes this a little intentional. like it's hey look over here type thing because everybody gets riled up about Pete Hexa. That's why he's still there. He's still there because he gets people riled the up. But even still, we're going to comment on it because it's insane. Has Major Hassan made any uh final request, reach out to the president?
Anything like that to your knowledge? Don't care. Oh, doesn't care. We'll see him on December 3rd. The Fort Hood shooting happened in 2009 when her son, an army psychiatrist who held the rank of major, walked into a medical building on November 5th and opened fire on soldiers waiting for medical appointments. Before he opened fire, he shouted, "Alahu Akbar, God is great." He also shot at the backs of soldiers fleeing. He killed 13 people in the attack. He was convicted in 2013. On October 7th this year, the acting secretary of the US Army said Hassan would be executed by a firing squad on December 3rd. US President Donald Trump commented on the same day that we're going to deliver final justice to an evil killer, the Fort Hood
shooter, Hidal Hassan. Why were who murdered 14? Why were all those people cheering before he even said it? He's like, "And we're going to kill." didn't say who it was yet and then people are like yeah and then he's like Nidal and they're like yeah like anybody knows who this guy is. Most of these people do not know this. This was so long ago. This was so long ago. It was like what like 15 years ago or something. Most people don't even remember this. I forgot about this entirely until recently. innocent souls and wounded dozens more here in Texas yelling Allah Akbar Allah Akbar while he was doing it
so or they're doing this now and making it public and making this big thing because he's a radical Islamist. We're in a war with Iran and maybe we got to kick up a little brown hate in this country. Maybe that's what these are doing. I don't know. What do you think? Do you think it's a distraction or do you think it's something that's there to stir up hate of Middle Eastern people? Because I don't know if you know this, but this is pretty much the most unpopular war. It's one of the most unpopular wars ever in the history of American wars. We We deserve better scops, guys. We really do. He's getting the death penalty by
firing squad. If it goes ahead, it'll be the first military execution in more than 65 years. The last time the military executed someone by firing squad was shortly after World War II, and questions have been raised about the ethics and methods involved in such an execution. done properly, a firearm squad execution should be quick and certain and as humane as one could get in a execution method in the currently in the United States. However, we have seen that if the shooters uh are motivated by vengeance or some other kind of negative emotion, then uh the firing squad execution can be botched.
So going forward, I mean, I don't I don't think there's a universe in which you can go into a soldier's hospital and kill and injure dozens of American soldiers. Uh, and then we can like separate that and be like, well, we've got to do this humanely. Like, this isn't personal. Of course, it's personal. Of course, it's personal to everybody in the military. Of course it is. You know, like I'm not going to pretend like it isn't, but also we just have rules. So yeah, I don't know. They might put some Stormtroopers up there to do the firing squad and he's
just like doing this and not get hit cuz that's all he's got to do is a little dance, little bachata or whatever. That is definitely not that dance, but you know what I'm saying. Visualize it. There's going to have to be a better selection process to ensure that whoever is involved in this, whoever is doing the shooting is not going to be so emotionally or politically involved that they will intentionally miss. What is this woman talking about? Supposed live streaming of the execution also raises legal and social. I don't care. Honestly, I actually don't care about the people in the firing squad. In fact, I'm not even necessarily against the firing squad if I'm being
honest. I just think it's theatrical. That's all it is. And so, we would live stream it to make a spectacle of a theatrical thing because of course Trump would want that. Of course, he wants that kind of a distraction. You know, this is kind of child's play in that that world. But, I don't know. This is all just really, really weird. My problem isn't with the firing squad. My problem is with live streaming in. It's just a bridge too far. Like, what is this? When Charlie Kirk, whatever happened to him on that day when Kirk got kirked? I mean, they ran that 24 hours a day
on every platform, on every news organization, everywhere, murder porn. Like, literally, they amplified murder porn. You mean children saw that? If they go and do something like this, it's going to be the same thing. It's going to be treated the same way. So, like, do it. Cool. Do it. fine this for what he did. I don't care if it's like you with the Aloo Akbars and all that I I wasn't there. I don't know. But what I do know is that he deceived, murdered, and maimed a bunch of soldiers. And though I'm
against war unless it's comes to your shores, I'm against the types of American wars that we're always in. But I am very pro the troops. I have a lot of love and respect for anybody who's served in any capacity. I don't care if you're a janitor in the army or in the Coast Guard. I have a lot of respect for the military, for the troops, a lot, a lot, a lot. And so what he did was despicable. And firing squad, okay, that's really theatrical, but okay. Like, I really don't care. Live streaming it, subjecting people to that because it's not like, oh, you're just
going to choose the live stream and you can just not watch the live stream. No, that is going to be out there in the world for like 72 hours just constantly constantly. I mean, Hegath is literally even saying like basically we got to make an example. We got people to see people got to see this questions, including concerns for the dignity of the defendant, who will be eligible to view the execution, and what the Trump administration has in mind in opting for an unusual spectacle, especially since Trump, who approved Hassan's execution, has been critical of public executions in Iran. Because Hassan could seek a lengthy delay of his execution in the civilian federal court
system, whether the execution will happen on December 3rd is unclear. I love Heg Seth, too. He's just like, "Well, well, what if they go and he goes for an appeal? Don't care. See you December 3rd." Basically just being like the law. that. We're murdering people, bro. That's what we do. We're America. We murder people. That's like That's the translation of like his head. That's a good point. Vel says, "If the US government didn't broadcast the execution of Saddam Hussein, why on earth would this guy execution be broadcast?" Good question. It's a very good question. We're in the throws of insanity, guys. This is the throws of insanity. This is
America now. Is it going to get better? I don't know. I think this is going to go deeper and darker and weirder and more dystopian until we just realize that America is not America anymore. It is completely unrecognizable. It's where we're headed. I'm pretty sure I'm pretty sure we're supposed to be doing something about this. What do you guys think? Do you think we should be live streaming executions?
