AI Is Already Too Big To Fail
What this video covers
Kevin theorizes that AI is already too big to fail and that frontier labs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI and Google are moving toward a merger and nationalization funded by taxpayers. He points to the government's america.gov AI site as a possible way to train models on user behavior, and says he has no proof. He also plays a Whitney Webb clip about Stargate Argentina and Javier Milei's AI policies, and says Peter Thiel has relocated there. Kevin presents all of this as speculation. He frames the argument as thinking out loud and not as a firm prediction.

So, we're going to pay for it, and then we're going to pay to use it. When they made the announcement, when they talk all about this, this is in partnership with all of the frontier AI labs. That's that's XAI. That's Anthropic or Claude. That's OpenAI or ChatGPT. That's Google Gemini. And somehow, they're all powering this, I think. I might be wrong about that. Pretty sure they're all involved. So, I had a crazy theory for you. I don't think they're all separate companies. Maybe they are on paper and on ownership. I don't know if all of these models or the system that the models all run on are all completely
independent from each other. I don't think they are. Now, whether or not these companies are sharing resources because they have to because they're all supremely when it comes to the money that they're not making. I don't know what it is. But, a few weeks ago, all of the AIs went down at the same time for the same amount of time. All of them. One morning for about just over 2 hours. And I raised the question on X. I said, what is it that connects all of these together that if that one point of failure happens, all of the AI companies go down at the same time? By the way, never got an answer for that. What's connecting all of them together? And why are they now all lockstep in
partnership with the American government? I think this is one step closer to possibly possibly nationalizing all of AI by combining all of these companies together. Maybe. Is that the best idea? No. But, these guys all need bailouts, and they're they're they're either going to IPO and take a lot of money and still probably not cover their nut and like they'll be like super Like as great as Anthropic is, that's their very serious and real future. If they if they IPO and they take all that money and they pay down the debts, how much runway does that give them? To me it feels like one man's theory that these
guys are just trying to run out the clock and whoever wins survives. Same thing kind of happened with the um early internet. I mean, everything almost went under. Right? The The crash was just insane. Like Amazon almost didn't make it through that, but they did and then over the next 20 years they became one of the biggest companies on the planet. OpenAI, xAI, Anthropic, one of them is going to survive, maybe two. They might survive. And then if they do, they get to run the world. Your prize for surviving the culling that's going to happen is you get to run the world. But they all want
to run the world. And you know this because they all but tell you. And so I'm wondering if maybe they're all just going to be like, you know what? One of us might be able to run the world. But if we play our cards right all of us can. So I think it's very likely that at some point and and we're going to I mean I try not to make big predictions, but this is what it feels like to me. I don't even know if this is a prediction necessarily that I'm making. It's just I'm just talking out loud here. I'm thinking out loud. I'm just letting you guys know what I think and I think that there's a potential merger happening and nationalization. And this is what Bernie Sanders has been calling for. Basically nationalizing it. And it's the only way
that you can have the resources for these companies to compete against China, who can drive down costs and deploy all of the infrastructure that they need, and that's why they're a major threat. Nobody's saying like Deep Seek is a threat. They're saying China is a threat. And I think that they are probably going to try to nationalize this so that we, the people, can bear the cost of these companies and pay for it, too. So, we're going to pay for it, and then we're going to pay to use it. And I think that's what's happening here. I also think that this is not to provide AI to like to people for free. Whatever
you need from the government, start right here. Boom, here's AI. Here's national AI right here. This is kind of the first step. Is this really them giving us AI, or is this training AI models? Because here's the reality about the information that AI can be trained on. They've learned pretty much everything. Isn't that crazy? They've already learned like damn near everything. And then, as we've talked about multiple times on the the Human Cybersecurity Report OF 2025, that like 86% of the entire internet is AI created. And so, what happens
when not only is the AI trained on pretty much everything from the internet, then it's been interjecting way more stuff that has been not poisoning the data, poisoning its understanding, but it's becoming an ouroboros, right? A snake that is eating its own tail. And that's what's happening. Is as time goes on, it keeps training and bringing everything to the middle and then content is made used with that middle and then it interjects in and then it trains back into the system and then keeps going to the middle until it just everything becomes mids. So, what happens when they're already trained on everything about us?
Doge has already gotten pretty much everybody's information and it's training models with it probably as we speak if it hasn't already completely done the training. There have been numerous countries that have been hacked for all of their citizen data and we don't know who did any of the hacking. The American government has been hacked now a couple of times. FBI and I think it was the Department of War? Was it or DHS maybe? One of the two. Just got hacked this week. I think when we say that the world is run on data, data is the lifeblood of the future and we've run out of it. So, I think they're trying to set things up like this type
of stuff. And this is a step before nationalized AI. Do I have any proof of that? No, I don't. But, look at what's happening. Look to the past. Look to the internet. Look at to the mistakes of the internet. Look to the mistakes of crypto. This is This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the these oligarchs that they're actually getting the third time around and the first two times around kind of got I mean, the internet, crypto and AI. And yes, I know you may say social media, but social media's part of internet as far as I'm concerned when we're talking about like that. So, [snorts] I think this is a step towards nationalized AI and I think that this is
all going to um just be a step into getting people to interact with nationalized AI so that that can be the training. I think we're on to something here guys. And again, obviously this all also feeds into the surveillance state because now we would have the power of every AI company combined plus the power of the American taxpayer funding the whole thing. And then, I mean, Trump just sat there for 4 minutes telling us how great data centers are. So obviously more data center infrastructure because that's what they need because these companies actually can't pay for the data centers that they have committed to because they literally
do not make enough money to cover it. And there isn't much enough money out there to actually sustain all of this, believe it or not. Like believe it or not. How much investment money do you think is out there in totality? Few trillion? These companies are going through trillions of dollars a year. I don't know. I think I think we're we're headed towards nationalized AI and uh I think that this is a step towards that, which is this is honestly I think this is a much bigger deal than like I said, this is a much bigger deal than people are making it. And I think that there's uh there's a lot to be said about how terrible this is uh for all of us. And I I had this um I had this clip lined up from this Whitney
Webb podcast that she did. It may not seem like it's in line with everything we're talking about, but it kind of is. Sam Altman has admitted there's a bubble. Oh, there's a bubble. Right. And so but what's interesting about what Kargman says cuz I mean he's being pretty honest, right? In saying this. But he's like A open AI like may not survive. And like to me it's irrelevant if they're using the data center or not because someone's going to use it. Right. And who might that someone be? Well, one of the things he hints at repeatedly is like a key point of Stargate Argentina isn't about like economic growth per se or like economic benefits for Argentines, right? It's about the digital transformation of the state and how this is in its infancy, but it's it's very important. And he basically
hints that, you know, it's very likely if not possible that Stargate Argentina ends up being used by the Argentine state itself because in order for the state to digitally transform, it needs to have a massive data repository about all of its people and whatever under its jurisdictional control within its own borders. Right. So, there is no data center currently in Argentina that fits the bill for the digital transformation that Milei has made the cornerstone of his presidency. Right. Right? Except what will be Stargate Argentina. Right. So, this is where in the article we were like, well, if it's if it this is about the transfer digital transformation of the state in Argentina and where it's
going, then what is how is Milei digitally transforming the state and what is going to end up happening there? So, from there, you know, we kind of explore Milei's AI policies. Right. And so, you brought up earlier, much earlier on, how, you know, Milei is like, I'm inviting AI to free itself. Um, and we're going to have, you know, AI-run companies with no humans involved, allow them to operate in the country. Um, and, you know, those are the kinds of attentions that have gotten or the AI-related policies that have They're going to allow AI-owned and operated businesses to operate within Argentina. Now, that's going to get crazy when people spin up their own AI
companies that they don't even need to touch. They make a passive income, but you can you can operate it out of Argentina, but some of what you're going to make is going to go to Argentina. It's really weird. It's a really weird thing. What are they cooking up? What are they cooking up? gotten like the most attention from international media. Mhm. Um but what has gotten less attention, though it's gotten plenty of attention domestically in Argentina, are his AI domestic policies. And this is why it's significant because if you're talking about in the context of what we just brought up, you know, the digital transformation of the Argentine state, it's about, you know, the relationship of the state with its citizens, Mhm. right? So, how is the digital transformation of the state and what are the AI
Uh policies of Milei that are used for, you know, governing or managing the Argentine population? Mhm. Well, you may be surprised to know that it's freaking pre-crime, dude. And so, in Wow. Same playbook as that is happening here. Same playbook. Argentina is just this weird stronghold that the Nazis went to after they escaped Europe after we beat the out of them. And uh it's where the the German uh Peter Thiel also seems to be setting up all sorts of stuff. He now lives down there. Peter Thiel actually owns a home down there that he's just moved to. So, he's spending a lot of time in Argentina. And of course,
while he's there, you think he's not invested in and doing all sorts of things? You think he hasn't already been for years and years and years? Of course, he has. And so, yeah, it's um it's an interesting place. It's an interesting place. There was also this theory, and I don't know how true it is, but if Israel were to use the Samson option, uh Argentina could is out of the bounds of like how far those those nuclear warheads can go. I don't know if that's true, but if it were true, um that also adds a another complex layer uh to to Argentina and where it is and how it is. So,
yeah. Yeah, these guys love the islands. They love islands. They love property. They love being all in the places that we can't or will not be able to be if the goes down. It almost feels like the money isn't the thing. It's the infrastructure they can build around themselves with the money. I believe that. I don't believe that these people are driven by money per se. They're driven by what the money can get them, which is the safety and security during the next phase. Because money is not going to be worth anything at all. Which is why I think the AI companies
are totally fine with lighting money on fire because money isn't the value that they think they're going to bring to society. And in fact, all of them believe in one version or another that AI is going to make money irrelevant. So, right now the game is what can you get with money while money is valuable that they can't take away from you after money becomes invaluable. That's just a theory. That's just a question.
